Dryadula phaetusa

This is a monotypic butterfly and is recognised by having shorter and broader wings than other heliconiines, rather short antennae and an androconial patch in the male. The host plants are not known and it lives in disturbed lowlands. They do not collect pollen unlike other heliconiines and are rather rare.

Recognised by the broad black HW margin and discal bar.
