Actias aliena/gnoma

It is very difficult to differentiate these species.

In general aliena are slightly larger (100-110mm ws, gnoma 85-95mm)

Summer aliena have a bluish colour to the wings , but winter are yellow/green

Aliena have slightly longer antenna

Aliena have grey line on the wing

I have therefore decided to sell these combined- so you may get an aliena or gnoma!

The tips of the tails naturally curl- so are often a bit ragged, and they are wild caught so can have a little fraying at the edges of the wings
